How to Repair a Massage Chair?

Inspection of the Electronic Control Items

Common Problems:  Fault codes appear；The working sound of the air pump or solenoid valve is abnormal.

Solutions:

After powering on, use the factory self-inspection mode to check the electronic control function and confirm whether there are any error codes. At the same time, detect the working sound of the air pump and solenoid valve. After the inspection, cut off the power supply and prepare for the next step of inspection.

Use a Phillips screwdriver to open the upper cover of the electronic control box. Cut the cable tie and gently remove it, minding not to scratch it. Next, undo the screws on the lower outer cover of the control cabinet, unplug the wiring harness, and take off the cover. Check for loose wiring on control boards, dirt, damaged harnesses, loose plugs, and detached solenoid valve air pipes. After inspection, reinstall the electronic control cover..

Snap on the front buckle of the lower outer cover of the electronic control cabinet, plug in the wiring harness, and tighten the screws. Put on the upper cover of the electronic control box (be careful not to scratch the electronic control cover), fix the grounding wire with a cable tie, and tighten the screws on the upper cover of the electronic control cabinet.

Inspection of the Appearance Items

Common Problems:  There are obvious collisions on the head part；The heating function on the back doesn't work properly.

Solutions:

Check the head part through visual inspection. Turn on the massage chair and check the heating function to see if the airbags on the back and the heating function are working properly.

Unzip the zipper, separate the air pipe of the cape and the connection wire of the heating pad, and remove the cape. Check whether the cape is damaged, whether the sewing thread is cracked, and whether the zipper has any gaps or breaks.

Inspection of the Internal Fabric Cover

Common Problems:  The internal fabric cover is damaged；There are problems with the fixed parts of the fabric cover.

Solutions:

Check the wear-resistant fabric front and back for damage, the zipper for gaps, the middle woven bag for breaks, the upper and lower parts for secure fixation, and the sewing thread for cracks.

Unzip the zipper of the wear-resistant fabric, open the rear cover, check whether the rack on the guide rail is in normal condition, and apply oil to the guide rail.

Inspection of the Movement Main Body Items

Common Problems:  Abnormalities occur in the moving parts of the movement；The movement is not on the same horizontal line.Abnormalities occur in the power transmission components.

Solutions:

Check if the swing arm and massage balls are loose. Power on the massage chair, run the movement, and check its kneading, tapping, and moving functions. Also, check if the movement is level, for guide rail wheel issues, wheel lubrication, and motor belt detachment.

Inspection of the Airbag and Basic Function Items of Components

Common Problems:  There are problems with inflation and deflation；The airbags are damaged.

Abnormalities occur in the basic functions.

Solutions:

Turn on airbag functions one by one to check if hand - gripping, hand, leg, and foot airbags work, for air leakage and leather cover damage. Then turn on leg massage to check roller functions on legs and soles and for abnormal noise.

Check if quick buttons work and for abnormal noise during operation. Connect to Bluetooth, play music, check if speakers work and for noise, and adjust volume with quick buttons.
